Fireworks Illuminate Lake Forest Fourth of July Sky

Pyrotechnic display caps off evening of Independence Day festivities.

A 20-minute fireworks display choreographed to patriotic music put the finale of Lake Forest’s community Fourth of July celebration today at Deer Path Park.

Before the fireworks went off from the Onwentsia Club immediately adjacent to Deer Path Park, thousands were treated to a concert with a pair of bands, food from Lovell’s of Lake Forest and both food and drink from Authentico.

There were carnival games for children of all ages and other activities as well including an opportunity to have a live snake wrapped around your neck courtesy of the Wildlife Discovery Center.
