Hot, Hot, Hot! Lake Bluff Heats up With Spectacular 4th
Parade-goers brave nearly triple-digit temps to enjoy 102nd annual along the streets of Lake Bluff. Residents enjoy evening's food, music and fireworks in Lake Forest.
With temperatues soaring toward record triple-digit marks, more than 24,000 braved the heat to attend the 102nd annual Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade Wednesday morning.
The parade, titled "History Marches On!" featured a record 123 entries

In the evening, the focus switched to Lake Forest where another good crowd chowed on food from Lovell's, kids worked up a sweat on slides and a jumping harness apparatus, and then everyone took in the rockin' sounds of Kenny Loggins followed by sparkling fireworks.
