Mothers Trust Foundation Raises Funds to Help More Kids

Golf Classic proceeds exceed $23,000.

 

Mothers Trust Foundation has raised more than $23,000 at its second annual “Master the Fairways” Golf Classic at the Lake Bluff Golf Club on June 11.

The proceeds allow Mothers Trust to provide assistance for critical needs or transformational experiences for at least 350 disadvantaged children in Lake County.

The winning golf foursome was Liz Bermingham, Scott Bermingham, Jean Richardson and Ed Richardson. Scott Ireland scored the Straightest Drive award  while Tom Miller collected the Closest to the Pin nod.

Founded in 1998, Mothers Trust Foundation reviews requests for help from social workers, court officers and school counselors in Lake County who work with children in difficulty or crisis.
