School Starts for Lake Forest D67 Schools on Wednesday

You can check out your kids' new school ahead of time with a walk-through on Tuesdeay.

Classes begin for Lake Forest elementary and middle school students in District 67

Wednesday is the first day of school for much of Lake Forest. District 67 is reminding parents that, "his first day of school will be a full day, i.e., 8:00am - 2:50pm for elementary and 8:35am - 3:35pm for middle school.  We have changed the length of the first day to comply with a new Illinois law that no longer allows the first day of school to be shortened. Kindergarten students will continue with their gradual transition into school."

Before kids start, check out that new school

Families can walk-though their school on Tuesday at the following times: Cherokee at 8:00-8:45 a.m.; Sheridan & Everett at 8:45-9:30 a.m.; DPM-E at 9:30-10:30 a.m., and DPM-W at 10:30-11:30 a.m.

If your kids are out of school but not out of the house...
