Everett School
847-234-5713
Everett School's beginnings date back to 1914, with the construction of a two-room brick building. The school was built in a small Irish settlement known as Everett. As of 2010, Everett had been on the Academic Excellence Honor Roll through the Illinois State Board of Education for five consecutive years. Only 2.2 percent of the 3m910 schools in Illinois have achieved this recognition five or six times consecutively. The school's third and fourth graders earned the mark of excellence when 90 percent met or exceeded state testing standards in all categories for all grade levels tested for at least three consecutive years.
