Forest Park Beach

<p>Open all year, this park provides a breathtaking view of the Lake Michigan beachfront. There are more than 29 acres featuring sheltered pavilions, a fishing pier, a boating launching ramp and storage area.</p> <p>There is a playground area for kids, sailing classes and camps, sailboat and kayak rentals, volleyball nets and an open beach for swimming. A concession stand is open during the summer months.</p> <p>The beachfront can be accessed either by driving down to the parking area or by walking down a nicely-decorated staircase from street level.</p>
