The Ragdale Foundation is an artists' retreat center that has been in Lake Forest for more than 100 years. It is known nationwide for its residency program, which hosts more than 200 artists each year. The foundation works to make the arts more accessible to the public, while providing artists with a peaceful setting that is designed to help and assist with the creative process. The Ragdale Foundation also runs community and preservation programs.
