I have learned to be generous to a fault. I have learned that you can't catch a fish if his mouth is open. I have learned to NEVER give up no matter the odds stacked against me, to always move forward, to never back up and ALWAYS keep punching. That life has a way of knocking down the strongest of men, but real men always get up and keep punching and moving forward. He taught me to think for myself, believe in myself. Finally that there is nothing in this life that is too tough for me and my God.... Happy Father's Day Pop..

My mother had a deep cut on her hand, and was waiting at the Lutheran General ER for over three…Read More hours until she finally gave up and went home. I picked her up and brought her to the Lake Forest Hospital ER. She was seen by an M.D., had the cut sutured, and driven round-trip in less than two hours total. In another instance, Lutheran General didn't follow my son's pediatrician's orders when I brought him in to the ER for a swollen eye, and he had to be admitted and on an IV drip at Evanston Hospital for 5 days because of their error. I have had great experiences at both Lake Forest Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital.
