The overall concern is not as much about the track itself, but a detention area to capture storm water in the grassy area between Lindenmeyer Field and the eastern boundary of the school.

Linda, what could you possibly find offensive about my comment? All i did was quantify how manyRead More students participate in track for Cathy Lynch who wondered about a park for many vs a track for a few. 200 students (including my own) is a strong program. You're claiming a value judgement where there was none.

@ LM I found absolutely nothing in your comment that should have been viewed upon other than simplyRead More stating a fact regarding the number of girls and boys that participate. Thanks

Rodgers made $141K in 2011 at his last job. Lets see how good a steward of our tax dollars ourRead More School Board is. Where is the disclosure on the compensation package. This is public information, will we need to go through the FOIA process to access it?

This is an opportune time to downsize administrative expenses. Why doesn't the current assistantRead More principal take over and either don't hire an assistant or pay the assistant a lot less than the current one? The administrative staff on the LFHS premises as well as in District 115 is very bloated. I like the idea of cutting expenses without having to lay anyone off, so seize the moment!

Those looking for a local camp should check out the Academy @ Citadel Theatre's summer performanceRead More camps. ACT puts on these camps for kids in LF-LB every year and this year the kids will be performing Once Upon a Mattress and Aladdin (depending on which age group they fall in). Don't let your kids be parked in a room with macaroni and popsicle sticks, let them realize their artistic potential on stage as part of ACT's ensemble! Look it up at www.citadeltheatre.org/education
