Titus, a 2-year-old basketball phenom, loves shooting trick shots.
Once Titus learned to walk, he started shooting baskets. These trick shots were filmed when Titus was between 18 and 24 months old, posted by Joseph Ashby in this YouTube video. If he keeps this up, we may see Titus in the NCAA Tournament - in about 17 years.

The Jewish National Fund hosted a basketball clinic with former University of Illinois and Israel basketball legend Tal Brody on Feb. 7 at the Berto Center in Deerfield. More than 100 children and parents braved the heavy snow and ice to come learn basketball moves from Brody and 1989 University of Illinois All American and former NBA star Kenny Battle. These basketball pros coached children ages 8 to16, and it was a great opportunity for members of the community to learn basketball basics straight from the experts. Participants also competed in shoot offs, and raffle winners received a variety of autographed prizes. Submitted by Jewish National Fund

Basketball has taken the former Lake Forest High School star all over the globe.
Basketball has brought the world to former Lake Forest High School standout Eddie Cage. “Europe has been really great,” said Cage, who lives in Andorra, a small, southwestern European country bordered by Spain and France. “I have also played in Dubai and Luxembourg for short stints. It has really been a blessing to get the chance to play in Europe for so many years. I have been to a lot of places that, growing up, I never thought I would see. When we do get some free time, which is very little, I’ve been able to go to Athens, Milan, London, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Hamburg, Glasgow and other places that are not as familiar.” His final hoops season at Lake Forest High School came 16 years ago. Highly touted Rice-signee knows he owes his success to Caxys program.
Lake Forest Academy's Dylan Ennis’ love for the game of basketball extends back to as long as he can remember. “I’ve been playing basketball since I was 4 years old,” said Ennis. “I picked up a basketball the day I started kindergarten; it makes me who I am. No matter what I am doing or where I am, basketball is always on my mind.” The years of play and practice have helped Ennis bust out this year to the tune of 23 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks per game. The impressive season has helped the senior garner Division I scholarship offers, before committing to Rice University. The Canadian-born point guard has helped the Caxys dominate their opponents to a 16-4 record. “He has worked extremely hard on the court, on his game, and …

LFA drops two of three games in Ohio.
With the departure of Tyler Ennis, Lake Forest Academy (LFA) basketball coach Matthew Vaughn knew that other players had to step up. Charles Harris did just that. He averaged an impressive 16 points per game at last weekend's Midwest Prep Basketball Classic in Ohio. "He, along with some other guys, has recognized they need to do more things to replace the loss of Tyler,” said Vaughn. “I am pleased with how Charles has been improving this season.” In last Friday night’s blowout against Western Reserve Academy of Ohio, Harris and the rest of the Caxys starters began with a bang. LFA scored the first 10 points of the game and extended its lead to 20 by halftime. The big lead enabled the Caxys (8-3) to sit their starters for the final …
