The League of Women Voters and American Association of University Women will host Lake Forest-Lake Bluff candidate debates March 3rd and 10th.
Lake Forest and Lake Bluff candidates in the April 9 consolidated election will participate in two candidate debates sponsored by the League of Women Voters and American Association of University Women (AAUW) on March 3 and March 10. Deerpath, Lake Forest Candidates: For those who cannot attend, the debates will be videotaped and shown on LFTV channel 17 or 19, the League website www.lwv-lflb.org, and YouTube, reported the Chicago Tribune.
Congressman Dold and challenger Brad Schneider will meet four times before Nov. 6 election. The only joint appearance in the 10th District is sponsored by the League of Women Voters and Patch. Three will be televised from Chicago.
Rep. Robert Dold (R-Kenilworth) and his Democratic challenger, Brad Schneider of Deerfield, are scheduled to debate each other four times next month in advance of the Nov. 6 general election but for now they are debating about the debates. The only time Schneider and Dold will meet face to face within the boundaries of the 10th Congressional District is at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Lake Forest High School. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Lake Forest, Deerfield and Highland Park as well as Patch.
