Truck Crash Sends Two to Hospital

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Injury Accident  Two people were taken to Lake Forest Hospital May 12 when two vehicles including a semi tractor trailer crashed on Highway 41 near West Washington Street, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Both the Knollwood and North Chicago Fire Departments responded. The semi overturned.. DUI  Lawrence Imhoff, 57, of Fox Lake was arrested May 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police clocked Imhoff driving 67 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Sheridan Road near Shoreacres Road, according to the report. Lake Bluff Police Target Seal Belt Violators

Dragnet will continue through May 27.

A concerted effort by the Lake Bluff Police Department to step up enforcement of Illinois’s seat belt laws will continue through May 27, according to Deputy Lake Bluff Police Chief Dave Belmonte. Between May 10 and Thursday, Lake Bluff Police handed out 15 tickets for seat belt violations, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. The effort is part of a statewide effort being encouraged by the Illinois Department of Transportation. The reports rarely show seat belt violations. Police are stationing themselves near four-way stop signs and making an extra effort while on patrol, according to Belmonte. There are also random stops for compliance and safety checks. Seat Belt Violation Leads to Fugitive Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Fugitive Warrant  Stephen Foley, 87, of Lake Forest was arrested Thursday on a failure to appear on a warrant from Williamson County after Lake Bluff Police stopped him for seat violation, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police stopped Williamson near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Highway 176 for failing to wear a seat belt, according to the report. After checking records, police learned there was an active warrant for Williamson’s arrest in Williamson County near downstate Marion for failing to appear for a court appearance. Man Steals Car in Lake Bluff, Caught in Chicago

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Bluff Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A warrant was issued in Lake County for the arrest of Thomas Osorio, 24, of Waukegan for the May 5 theft of a SUV in the 500 block of Mawman and burglary of two other vehicles, both Class 2 felonies, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  According to the report, Osorio burglarized two vehicles and stole the SUV. He was arrested later that day in Chicago by the Chicago Police Department and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered. Bond was set and he remains in Cook County Jail.  The Lake County State’s Attorney’s office then approved charges for theft and burglary and the warrant was issued, according to the report. Bannockburn High Speed Chase Ends in Lake Bluff

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Karlene Lesh of Barrington Hills was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing and eluding and improper stopping after a high speed chase on the Tri-State Tollway, according to Bannockburn Police reports.  Police first encountered Lesh as she was stopped in her vehicle in an eastbound lane on Half Day Road near Lakeside Drive, according to the report. After stopping her, police noticed a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. When the officer asked her to step out of the automobile, she “put her car in drive and took off,” entering the Tollway.  Police followed Lesh onto Interstate 94 driving at speeds up to 100 miles per hour. Man Bangs on Car Window, Gets Arrested

Disorderly Conduct  Joseph Kinnucan, 50, of Ingelside was arrested Tuesday for disorderly conduct after an altercation with another driver, according to Lake Bluff police reports.  At a stop near Moffet Road and Forest Cove, Kinnucan got out of his car, went to the car behind him and banged on the window. Police stopped him nearby, according to the report. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 8:45 a.m. May 28 in Waukegan.  DUI  David Audley, 53, of Lake Bluff was arrested May 5 for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Littering Leads to DUI Arrest

DUI  Lukasz Klis, 24, of Harwood Heights was arrested April 26 for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police received a call from an ambulance driver a towel was thrown from the window of a vehicle driving northbound on Highway 41 toward the north village limits, according to the report. When police found and stopped the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver, Klis. Man Threatens Mother-in-Law, Gets Arrested

Possession of Cannabis  Justin Molsbee, 34, of Lake Bluff was arrested for possession of cannabis April 21 after making threats against his mother-in-law, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police were called to Molsbee’s home in the 100 block of East North Avenue after a caller told police that he was making threats against his mother-in-law, according to the report. While there, police saw cannabis in plain view. Molsbee was released on a recognizance bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. June 4.  Theft  Jonathan Jaworski, 28, formerly of Lake Forest, was arrested for theft Thursday, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Thieves Take iPhone From Local Merchant

Theft  An iPhone valued at $699 was taken April 12 from a Verizon Wireless store on Waukegan Road in Lake Bluff, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police received a call from the store that a theft was in progress, according to the report. People in the store saw two men in their 20’s enter the store, take the phone and leave, driving away in a while Dodge Avenger. Possession of Cannabis and more  Thomas Belasco, 19, of Long Grove was arrested April 8 for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.  Police responded to a call that people might be carrying beer to the Lillian Dells Beach. Upon arrival, police found Belasco and two other people at the beach, according to report. Police discovered the alcohol, cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
