Poll Results: Keep Train Station Merchants Local
By a one-vote margin, Patch readers say yes to a local business in the East Lake Forest Train Station and no to Dunkin’ Donuts. One Lake Bluff business makes a public pitch on Patch.
The results are in and Patch readers said no—barely—to a Dunkin’ Donuts shop at the East Lake Forest Train Station and yes to a local operator. Of the 31 people who responded, 13 want an independently owned coffee shop and 12 opt for Dunkin’ Donuts. Five prefer a new store in the location.
