It's the weekend and that means catching a new blockbuster movie so you can talk about it the following week with friends and co-workers. Marcus Theatres, a division of The Marcus Corp., announced Tuesday that it will build a movie theater near the northeast intersection of Interstate 94 and Illinois Route 176, also known as the "Lambs Farm" interchange, in Green Oaks. Marcus Theaters has purchased approximately 10 acres as part of a mixed-use center being developed by Equities Green Oaks, LLC. The mixed-use development will also feature retailers and restaurants. According to Bruce J. Olson, president of Marcus Theaters, the planned 60,000-square foot theatre will feature up to 15 screens and 2,400 seats, including a 70-foot-wide UltraScreen.
