Nominations are now being accepted for the first-ever Music Educator Award, which will recognize music educators for their contributions to our musical landscape and their positive influence on their students' musical experiences, according to a press release from The GRAMMY Foundation. The awards are being sponsored by The GRAMMY Foundation and The Recording Academy. All current U.S. music teachers from kindergarten through college, in public and private schools, can be nominated for an award.
