DUI Lukasz Klis, 24, of Harwood Heights was arrested April 26 for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police received a call from an ambulance driver a towel was thrown from the window of a vehicle driving northbound on Highway 41 toward the north village limits, according to the report. When police found and stopped the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver, Klis. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. May 17 in Waukegan. Possession of Cannabis Justin Molsbee, 34, of Lake Bluff was arrested for possession of cannabis April 21 after making threats against his mother-in-law, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police were called to Molsbee’s home in the 100 block of East North Avenue after a caller told police that he was making threats against his mother-in-law, according to the report. While there, police saw cannabis in plain view. Molsbee was released on a recognizance bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. June 4. Theft An iPhone valued at $699 was taken April 12 from a Verizon Wireless store on Waukegan Road in Lake Bluff, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police received a call from the store that a theft was in progress, according to the report. Theft Scott Dunson, 37, of Waukegan, was arrested March 29 for theft, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Dunson is accused of taking items from a home in the 12000 block of Meadow Circle. He was released on bond and appeared in Lake County Court Friday in Waukegan. Driver’s License Infractions German Garcia, 26, of Beach Park was arrested April 1 for driving without a valid license and speeding, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. Police clocked Garcia driving 53 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Sheridan Road near Crabtree Lane. During the investigation, police learned he did not have a valid license. Cops: Sex Offender Robbed Waitress, Family A Tennessee convict is ordered held in lieu of $1 million after storming into the Lake View restaurant Cassava Bread Sunday night and robbing a waitress, a Buffalo Grove mother and her two children, the Chicago Tribune reports. William Castle, 43, was charged with aggravated robbery, unlawful restraint and aggravated kidnapping, police said. He is also on Tennessee’s sexual offender registry for aggravated sexual battery in 2009. Police say the Buffalo Grove family was eating at the Lake View bakery at 3338 N. Automobile Crash One person was hospitalized as the result of a three-car collision Jan. 15 at intersection of Route 176 and Waukegan Road, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After two cars traveling west on Highway 176 stopped at the traffic light at Waukegan Road, a third car drove into the second vehicle causing the three-car crash, according to the report. There was no report on the seriousness of the injury. Following the break-in of two vehicles on Wednesday, Lake Bluff Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight. Two cars were found burglarized in the 900 bock of North Shore Drive between 9-and 10 a.m. Sept. 21. The vehicles were parked in a parking lot, and the side windows were broken to take purses left on the seats. One witness observed two male black subjects in their early 20s driving a green SUV in the area prior to the burglaries. Similar suspects and incidents have been reported recently in neighboring communities. "If you have valuables in your car, please take them with you. LAKE BLUFF SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR At Lake Bluff Middle School, 31 E. Sheridan Place, a suspicious vehicle was driving slowly while a student walked to school Dec. 9. The vehicle was described as a grey or black Highlander driven by a male Hispanic. The car drove past the student at 8 a.m. while the student walked west on Sheridan Place near Glen Avenue. The vehicle drove slowly next to the student, then pulled intop a driveway. The student ran home and told a parent. The parent believed the man was lost and looking for an address.
