Lake Bluff Police Blotter: Crash Sends Person to Hospital and More

Automobile Crash One person was hospitalized as the result of a three-car collision Jan. 15 at intersection of Route 176 and Waukegan Road, according to Lake Bluff Police reports. After two cars traveling west on Highway 176 stopped at the traffic light at Waukegan Road, a third car drove into the second vehicle causing the three-car crash, according to the report. There was no report on the seriousness of the injury. DUI Ismael Chavez-Contreras, 48, of Waukegan was arrested Jan. 13 for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, driving with only one head light illuminated and driving without a license, according to Lake Bluff Police reports.
