Anthony Dion, 25, was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, moved to the United States when he was 4 and has lived in the Woodinville area pretty much ever since. Anthony graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2003. In 2007 he graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in History. He started his career as sports editor for The Ukiah Daily Journal, in Ukiah, CA. He then went to The Glenwood Springs Post Independent in Colorado, before moving back home to Woodinville. In addition to being a sports writer for Woodinville Patch, Anthony covers prep sports for The Daily Herald in Everett. When he's not working, Anthony tries to find time to go to the movies, read and play cards with my family. He considers himself a film and history buff so if you ever meet him, those topics are definitely two to bring up. And of course, as a sports reporter, he's a huge sports fan and spends a great deal of time watching his favorite sports (baseball, football, basketball, hockey, golf and MMA) and teams (Mariners, Seahawks, UW football and UConn basketball).
