LF DAD- You make a good point about coverage. These stories always present challenges. As someone who has written about Tommy extensively for Patch, this is disappointing news. But Patch is a local news organization, with an obligation to report local news. When Tommy does good things, we report it. When he does bad things, and this is the first time, we report it. It's not about "rallying around him" it's about doing our job. Thanks for your comments and with the support of the LF community, I'm sure he will get through this.

ReplyThat's a great question. Coach Spagnoli wanted the ball to start the half, regardless of the wind. It worked as the Scouts scored 10 points in third. Batavia got the wind and dominated the fourth. No question it was a factor, but Lake Forest's inability to run the football was the biggest reason they didn't win the game.

ReplyI would agree, Rich. The defense is very impressive. Fast, physical quick to the ball. Beating a team like Stevenson should give them plenty of confidence the rest of the season. Should be fun!
