Hi, I'm Kevin. I'm been living in the Grayslake area for over 20 years. My interests are traveling, diet, exercise, reading non-fiction and writing (blogging) about information, services and products from a value-added perspective.

Local journalism is fun and interesting as it provides a platform to share unique stories and insight to the reader that they may not normally experience. I'm interested in the Patch model because of the hyperlocal media approach as the primary focus is being directed towards the needs and concerns of its people. Having genuine curiosity and asking the right questions helps capture information for an interesting story.
