Lindsey Anderson, Neighbor

Hello there!

I'm originally from Granville, Ohio. I attended school at Colby College, in Waterville, Maine, and I graduated in 2010. During college, I often wrote for the arts and entertainment section of my school newspaper, and I took creative writing classes whenever I could.

Immediately after graduating, I spent two months traveling across the U.S. with a few friends. I fell in love with Chicago during my time on the road, and I decided to move to the city in January of 2011.

I started writing for Patch shortly afterward, and I've enjoyed writing every assigment I've taken since then!

In my free time I also write articles for Sixty Inches From Center, an online magazine about contemporary art and artists.

I'm also an active member of Chicago's theater community, and I'm currently getting ready to produce my first show. I love attending art shows, gallery openings, and live theater whenever I'm given the chance.
