The fellowship allows recipients to guide national education programs and policies related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.
LFCDS will host Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development AWE (Accelerated Weekend Experiences) at the end of April. The courses are open to academically talented middle school students.
This yearly event offers the chance for students to connect and give back to the local community.
The School hosts this annual fair as a service to the North Shore and surrounding families who are considering boarding school as a option.

Lake Forest Country Day School has restructured its world language curriculum in the Early Childhood Center and Lower School, offering French and Mandarin Chinese in addition to Spanish.
