ReplyI LOVE Benjamin Restaurant. I have been there many times and have always found the food delicious, beautifully presented, the staff friendly and efficient, and the environment delightful. I was surprised to see that it came off as snooty. I think it's admirable, though, that a restaurant listens to its customers. This speaks very highly of the management.

ReplyI am assuming that there will be follow-up articles on the remaining 24 businesses. I do like having an indepth focus on one shop at a time, but maybe a listing of the new businesses and their locations would be a way to let the community know what is out there. Your coverge of this business makes me want to go to the Open House. I have met the owner and she is a delightful, energetic lady. She will be a wonderful asset to the business community.

ReplyI am not surprised by your story of what transpired with your bicycle problem, Steve. I, too, have found that Kiddles is all about service and quality products and will go the extra mile when needed. When I stop into the shop with a bicycle question or for a purchase, I am treated like I am the only person in the store. They are knowledgeable and want their customers to be happy. Kiddles is a Lake Forest gem.

We are thrilled to have this bakery in Lake Forest. We have eaten some of Annie Rath's decadent cakes; they are fabulous!
