Shirley, perhaps always use "submit comment" at the bottom of a thread instead of "reply" to an individual comment. I used "reply" once and was deleted, I think the author of the particular comment has the right to delete it as does the reply author. Of course the "flag for inappropriate" path and editor removal is always a possibility...

Thanks for speaking out and pointing out the misinformation. I am trying to selectively do the same, for the benefit of the community.
