Lake Forest Home Burglarized, Police Seek Public's Help

ALCOHOL

Omar A. Gonzalez, 33, of 2409 Emmaus Ave., Zion, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving without insurance at 3:58 a.m. Nov. 16 on Route 41 at Old Elm Road. His court date is Dec. 10 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

Scott A. Krause, 19, of 426 Pine Court, Lake Bluff, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 10:39 p.m. Nov. 8 on Bowling Green at West Fork, where Krause drove his vehicle into a tree. Police said he had an open bottle of whiskey and a case of beer in the vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given a Dec. 10 court date at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

BATTERY

A 16-year-old girl was charged with domestic battery at 12:19 a.m. Nov. 9 after police said she struck an adult woman and juvenile boy during an argument  in a home on the 200 block of North Mayflower. She was taken to Depke Juvenile Center.

BURGLARY

A home on the 400 block of East Linden was burglarized between Oct. 22 and Nov. 11 while the owner was on vacation. The rear door was forced open and several rooms were ransacked. A laptop computer and printer were reported missing. Anyone with information is asked to email Det. Mark Senger at SengerM@cityoflakeforest.com.
