Rooms Ransacked During Lake Forest Burglary

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Harassment by telephone
On 7/27/13, Joseph E. Kinnucan, 50, of Lake Bluff was arrested on a warrant for harassment by telephone for an incident which occurred 7/18/13. Early that morning, Kinnucan was the subject of a trespassing complaint by a business in town and was spoken to by officers at that time. Afterward, he called police on a recorded line and proceeded to threaten a dispatcher.He was taken into custody, processed and transported to a bond hearing at Lake County Jail. He has an August court date.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Zorigt Tsogt‐Erdene, 22, of Chicago, was stopped by an officer for passing where prohibited. The officer located two glass bongs inside his car. Tsogt‐Erdene was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and has a September court date.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Officers responded to a reported burglary to a motor vehicle parked in a driveway in the 300 block of NorthGreen Bay.Taken from the unlocked Mercedes was a black Motorola cell phone, cash and miscellaneous change.

The passenger side window of a red Toyota Rav 4 was broken out between 2:45 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, 7/24/13 while the car was parked at the east side train station. Several items were taken from the car.Nearby, an officer located a gray Volvo which appeared to have been damaged in a similar attempt to gain entry.Nothing was removed from this car.

Driving under the influence

Police responded to a one‐car crash that occurred when a SUV left the road and struck a tree in the 500 block of Spruce. Officers spoke with Tucker W. Deeter, 22, of Lake Forest, the driver, who admitted to drinking and exhibited a strong odor of alcohol.He failed three field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, processed and released on bond with an August court date. Because Deeter did not complete all chemical tests required, his driver’s license will be suspended for a minimum of one year.

Residential burglary

Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a residence in the 1200 block of East Turicum. They located a rear sliding door that had been forced open. Two rooms had been ransacked and several items of jewelry taken. No one was found inside the house orin the immediate area.
