City's annual celebration starts with a carnival Tuesday. There's still more happening this week.
Lake Forest Day Brings Annual Celebration
Will there be more people from Lake Forest in the Lake Forest Day Parade at 10 a.m. Wednesday or more standing along Western Avenue watching the City’s annual honoring of veterans and enjoying itself unfold?
One thing is certain. Much more of Lake Forest will be participating or watching than won’t.

The carnival kicks off the celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at West Park. Things start early Wednesday for those taking part in the annual 10K run. As soon as the parade finishes at West Park Wednesday, the carnival will begin again until 11 p.m.

Children’s Story Time Set Friday in Lake Bluff
As usual, there will be story time for children at 10:30 a.m. Friday sponsored by the Lake Bluff Public Library.

With all the community fun Tuesday and Wednesday, Lake Forest High School students should not forget to get their fees paid and make any desired schedule changes Monday.
