Police Blotter: Theft of Mislaid Property, Consumption of Alcohol by a Minors

Theft of Mislaid Property

Quincy A. MclIvaine, 19, of Lake Bluff is being charged with theft of mislaid property, according to Lake Forest Police reports. Her administrative hearing was set for Oct. 14 at City Hall.

Employees advised officers that MclIvaine, a former student, was seen on video entering and exiting a locker room from which a sweater was reported stolen. MclIvaine admitted to taking the sweater and returned it, according to the report.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

William F. Adams, 20, of Lake Forest is being charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His bond was set at $120.

LFPD responded to Lake Forest College for a report of an unwanted subject. They spoke with Adams and school employees, and noted that it became clear that Adams had snuck into an area reserved for adults age 21 and older, despite being ejected multiple times, police said. Adams admitted to drinking alcohol. His hearing will be Nov. 20 in Park City.

Battery, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Consumption of Alcohol by Minor

Aiden P.  Hanley, 18, of Lake Forest is being charged with battery, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His bond is set at $1,000 and his hearing is set for Oct. 23 in Waukegan.

Officers responded to Lake Forest College for a report of battery to a school employee. Police said the incident occurred during the search of a student’s dorm room where marijuana was discovered. Officers spoke with Hanley and several witnesses. Hanley was taken into custody and charged and released after positing cash bond.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor

Andrew E. Stein, 20, of Lewiston, NY is being charged with possession of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His administrative hearing is set for Nov. 14.

Police stopped Stein when he was walking on Maywood Road at Ivy Court in possession of several cans of beer, the report said.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Charles E. Black, 18, of Hoffman Estates is being charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His administrative hearing is set for Nov. 14.

Black was the passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation. He appeared to be intoxicated, admitted to drinking and produced a breath sample showing that his blood alcohol content was 0.180, police said.

Samantha J. Milecki, 18, of Buffalo Grove is being charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. Her administrative hearing is set for Nov. 14.

Officers and a Lake Forest Fire Department ambulance responded to Lake Forest College after a call requesting medical help after an individual consumed alcohol and marijuana. Milecki was found to be intoxicated and was transported to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, police said.
