Theft, Possession of False ID and Illegal Control of Cannabis

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lake Forest Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

Johanna T. Wassermann, 49, of Waukegan is being charged with theft, according to Lake Forest Police reports. Her hearing is set for Dec. 11 in Waukegan, and her bond is set at $1,500.

The report states that officers responded to an attempted theft at the Lake Forest Hospital gift shop. The employees there said that Wassermann attempted to take several items from the shop by pretending that she had previously paid for them. Security believed that she had successfully done the same thing at the Health and Fitness Center on Nov. 17. After viewing security footage and speaking with Wassermann, she was taken into custody and charged with theft for the Nov. 17 incident.

Illegal Control of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Michael A. Bergeron, 21, of Chicago and Alice G. Holmes, 21, of Evanston are being charged with illegal control of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Lake Forest Police reports. Their hearing is set for Dec. 4 in Park City and their bond is set at $120.

The report states that the subjects were the driver and passenger in a car stopped for speeding on Sheridan Road. Marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.

Possession of False Identification, Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Natalie M. Pattison, 18, of Hudsonville Michigan is being charged with possession of false identification and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Lake Forest Police reports. Her administrative hearing is set for Dec. 12 at City Hall.

Pattison was spoken to by an officer while walking at Deerpath at Western Ave., according to police. She appeared to be intoxicated and, when asked, provided the officer with a fake ID that listed a false name and birth date. Police said she admitted to drinking at a local bar using the false ID. Pattison provided a breath sample that indicated a blood alcohol content of .174.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Charles T. Dewar, 21, of Lake Bluff is being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Lake Forest Police reports. His bond is set at $120 and his hearing is set for Jan. 8 in Park City.

Dewar was located at Forest Park with the two subjects listed above. A glass bong was located in his car which was parked illegally, according to police. He was cited and released.
